Isabel is a graduating fourth year at Mills College in Oakland, CA. She is to receive her BS in Public Health and Health Equity with a concentration in health science. Isabel has a previous background in research identifying the social determinants of health in low-income communities of color and the biosocial impacts of adverse childhood experiences. She aspires to one day become a cardiologist and continue her public health research to uplift her community.

Nidhi is a recent graduate (class of 2021) at Brown University who triple-concentrated in anthropology, public policy, and biology. She has previously conducted longitudinal research testing digital health interventions for MSM populations at risk for HIV in the New England area, helped found a community advisory board, and has researched pediatric opioid prescription
protocols with Children’s Hospital LA.

Gracelyn is a rising senior, public health major, and bioinformatics minor at the George Washington University. She has experience as a research assistant at the GW Computational Biology Institute studying HIV genetic epidemiology. Her research interests include genetic epidemiology, LGBTQ+ health, and integrating social justice with epidemiology.

Sara is a recent UC Davis graduate in Global Disease Biology with a focus on social epidemiology, and a minor in Spanish. Her community work in; sexual and reproductive education, outreach with people who are unhoused, clinics and needle exchanges with people who use drugs, and community-led research with sex workers; has all nurtured her passion community-based interventions and research. Her interests also include Latinex health, LGBTQ+ health, Reproductive Justice, Harm Reduction, and public health policy.

Sam graduated from the University of Washington where they studied Medical Anthropology and Global Health with a minor in Bioethics. During their undergrad studies, they conducted independent research into the financial accessibility of treatment options for HIV+ mothers in Eastern and Southern Africa. They plan to become an epidemiologist, with particular focus on infectious diseases and LGBTQ+ health.
